My weekend

Well so far this weekend, I got a new computer OS and just updated my laptop it's all fancy now lol Still need to update the desktop as well. Today I've pretty much stayed at home and talked to friends online. In a few I'm gonna be going to see the hitchhikers guide to the galaxy so I should get going, that's all for now. I'll write about the movie when I get home.

Car Show

There was a car show today at the park near my house, so my dad brought his 1981 Delorean over to put it on display and hopefully win an award. I showed up there around 12:30 and sat around for a while. Looked at the different cars including a new '05 Mustang which I want soooo badly, I'd do anything for that car lol. Went back home around 2 and took my sister to get some lunch. I had eatten at the car show, but my sis stayed home so I figured I'd take her to get some food. After that we went back to the car show for a few and found out that this year the Delorean hadn't won anything. Oh well, there's plenty more car shows to come. That's all for now,

FM transmitter

Today has been alright, I bought an FM transmitter for my iPod, and so far it seems to be working rather well. I was worried that I would have a problem getting a good quality sound out of the transmitter, but even though where I live is full of radio stations I can find at least one opened frequency. Well that's all for now.

Home from Vegas

Well, it's 12:00 and I just got home from a 4 hour drive so I'm pretty tired. Vegas was fun, saw a lot of new and interesting products from various vendors and companies. Didn't do much else but that's alright, I've done lots of things during my past times in Vegas so I don't feel so bad. All in all I'm glad to be home. Now it's time for me to crash off to sleep before I fall asleep on this keyboard lol, night.

Hard Rock Cafe

Dinner was good, we went to the Las Vegas Hard Rock Cafe. I had a cheeseburger with fries and a sprite. We got there around 7:30 and it was a little crowded, we had to wait a while, so we just walked around the store a bit, I was text messaging some friends to fill up some time and looked at the various things that the Hard Rock store had to sell. After dinner we drove around the strip for a few and then went back to the hotel where I am sitting right now. Not sure what I'm doing tonight, but most likely I will be going to sleep because I need to get up early to get to the convention center to sign up for the apple classes. Vegas

Well, I spent my first day at NAB and walked around a lot of the show floor. Saw many interesting products including a new steadicam product called Merlin. It's a small "more affordable" version of their full blown steadicam. It looks interesting although "affordable" isn't exactly what I'd say seeing as the price I was told was $899 ouch lol. Saw some more stuff about apple's new Tiger OS, it includes a lot of new features and I can't wait till next friday for the release. For now though, I'm just going to relax, watch the simpson's and get ready to go out for dinner. Will update later.

Spring Break and NAB

So spring break is almost over for me, darn lol oh well. Now I need to get ready to go to vegas tomorrow night for NAB, the National Association of Broadcasters convention. I went last year as well, and it was fun, just a lot of walking. I'm sure it will be really fun though. I'll update you as to what's going on at the show as much as can, but for now I must get going.
